Desert Dawn Denim Jacket

A little bit of desert sunshine, stitched into denim.
The Desert Dawn Jacket pairs classic blue denim with genuine Pendleton® wool in warm, sun-washed shades of cream, golden yellow, soft orange and rust.
I fell in love with the geometric pattern because it reminds me of the first light hitting the desert—warm, earthy and just bright enough to make a statement without overpowering the jacket.
Each jacket is individually embellished in my Bellingham, Washington studio. For this design, I placed the Pendleton wool in a dramatic V-shaped panel across the shoulders, with a coordinating geometric panel at the lower back. The angular placement follows the lines of the wool and gives the jacket a beautiful Southwestern feel from behind.
