Everything you need to feel confident before you order. Ahzalhea pieces are handmade to order in the USA, and these are the questions customers ask most.
How do I choose my size?
Every style lists measurements, and the full size chart covers pants, tops and bodysuits. The fit is snug and stretchy by design, with most styles made from 95% cotton and 5% spandex.
If you carry more through the hips or thighs, or you are between sizes, many customers prefer to size up.

How are the bottoms supposed to fit?
Leggings, shorts and pants are made to hug and move with you. The cotton-spandex fabric is thick and stretchy, so a new pair may feel snug while going on before settling into a comfortable, second-skin fit.
What are the two waistband options?
Many leggings offer either a 1-inch elastic waistband or a wide 3.5-inch fold-over waistband.
The fold-over waistband can be worn up for additional coverage or folded down to adjust the rise and look.
What measurements should I send for sizing help?
Send your natural waist measurement, usual clothing size and the name or link of the piece you are considering.
For bottoms and bodysuits, including your hip measurement can make the recommendation more accurate.
How long until my order ships?
Each piece is handmade after you order. Please allow approximately 2 to 4 weeks for production before your order ships.
This made-to-order process allows every piece to be created individually while reducing unnecessary production and waste.
I have an event coming up. Can my order arrive sooner?
Contact Ahzalhea before ordering and include your event date, location and the pieces you are considering.
An earlier completion date may be possible depending on the production schedule, but rush delivery cannot be guaranteed.
Where are orders made and shipped from?
Ahzalhea pieces are made and shipped from the United States. Available shipping methods and prices are calculated at checkout.
How will I know when my order ships?
Once your order leaves the studio, a shipping confirmation will be sent to the email address used at checkout.
When tracking is available, the tracking details will be included in that message.
Can I exchange my piece for another size?
Contact Ahzalhea within 30 days of receiving your order and request a return before sending the item back.
Eligible pieces must be unworn, unused and free from smoke, perfume and body odor, with their original tags and packaging.
Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility.
What is the return policy?
Return requests must be made within 30 days after receiving the item.
Eligible pieces must be returned unworn, unused, scent-free, with their tags, proof of purchase and original packaging.
Custom items, personalised items, sale items and gift cards are not eligible for return.
Who pays for return shipping?
The buyer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Prepaid return labels are not provided.
Contact Ahzalhea before returning anything. Items sent back without first requesting a return may not be accepted.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Inspect your order when it arrives. If the piece is damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, contact Ahzalhea immediately.
Include your order details and clear photographs so the issue can be reviewed.
What are Ahzalhea pieces made from?
Most styles are made from 95% cotton and 5% spandex, creating a soft, substantial fabric with comfortable stretch.

Are Ahzalhea garments fireproof?
No garment is fireproof. Cotton does not melt in the same way as many synthetic fabrics, but it can still ignite and burn.
Fire performers should follow trained safety practices, work with an experienced safety partner and keep loose fabric, ties and braids away from open flame.
Will my hand-dyed piece look exactly like the photos?
Your piece will follow the selected color palette, but the placement, depth and blending of the dye may vary slightly.
These variations are part of the hand-dyed process and mean that no two pieces are exactly alike.
How should I care for my Ahzalhea pieces?
- Turn the garment inside out before washing.
- Wash cold by hand or on a gentle cycle.
- Avoid bleach and fabric softener.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Hang or lay flat to dry.
Gentle care helps protect the hand-dyed color, fabric and braided details.
What if a braid or tie needs repair?
Ahzalhea offers free braid repair. Contact the studio with photographs of the area that needs attention and details from your original order.
Do you offer custom colors?
Many pieces can be created in custom-dyed colors. Availability depends on the design, fabric and current production schedule.

Can I request changes to an existing design?
Selected design adjustments may be possible depending on the piece and requested change.
Send the product name, measurements and a clear explanation of what you would like changed before ordering.
Can custom pieces be returned?
Custom products, special orders and personalised pieces are not eligible for return.

What should I include in a custom request?
Include the product name, preferred colors, measurements, event date if relevant, and any photographs or references that help explain your idea.
