Handmade and made to order
Every Ahzalhea piece is hand-dyed and hand-braided to order in Laura's Bellingham, WA studio. Because each item is made and dyed by hand, please allow processing time before your order ships. Colors and patterns vary slightly from piece to piece, which is part of the one-of-a-kind nature of the work.
Processing time
Orders are typically made and shipped within 5-7 business days of purchase. During launches, holidays, and festival season, processing may take a little longer. If your order is time-sensitive, please see Rush orders below or message before ordering.
Shipping rates
Shipping is free on all orders, within the United States and worldwide.
Where we ship
We ship across the United States and internationally. Domestic orders are sent via USPS. International orders are sent via USPS or a comparable carrier.
Estimated delivery
- United States: about 13-20 days after your order ships.
- International: typically 2-5 weeks after your order ships, depending on the destination and local customs processing.
These are estimates from the carrier, not guarantees. Delivery times can vary during peak periods.
Tracking
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order is on its way.
Rush orders
Need it sooner for a performance, festival, or event? Rush processing is available for an added fee. Please message before ordering so we can confirm timing, or add the rush option at checkout if listed.
International orders, customs, and duties
Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These are set by the destination country and are the buyer's responsibility. Please check your country's rules before ordering, as we cannot mark items as gifts or undervalue packages.
Wrong address and undeliverable packages
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders sent to an incorrect address provided by the buyer. If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, we will reach out to arrange reshipment (additional shipping may apply).
Lost, delayed, or damaged packages
Once an order is handed to the carrier, delivery is in their hands. If your order is lost, significantly delayed, or arrives damaged, contact us right away at laura@ahzalhea.com and we will help make it right. Please inspect your order on arrival and reach out immediately about any issue.
Returns and exchanges
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery. See our Refund Policy for full details.
