“I care. About quality, fare wages, keeping jobs local, our earth and the impact we have on it.”

- Laura Hale, Founder

Slow Fashion

Is a movement that creates garments for quality instead of quantity. It encourages slower production and advocates manufacturing in respect for the people, environment, and animals.

By promoting sustainability and supporting healthy lifestyles, I can ensure that each and every piece of apparel is a treasure that you not only love to wear – but that you can also feel good about.

Using recycled materials and low impact dyes with zero chemicals are just a few of Ahzalhea’s sustainable practices.

Our Sustability Practices:

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND SUSTAINABLE ECONOMICS

All materials are made in the US and created by well-paid employees. I work hard to keep my prices reasonable so that women everywhere can enjoy the apparel of Ahzalhea.

FABRIC CHOICE

Not only is cotton fire safe, it also eliminates micro plastics from getting into the water from laundry.

DID you know 35% of micro plastics comes from synthetic fabrics? Tip: You can even buy a filter for your washer!

LOW-IMPACT PACKAGING

Ahzalhea uses 100% recycled and recyclable mailers and packages as much as possible. I strive to eliminate plastic from my production and shipping completely.

STEWARDSHIP OF ENVIRONMENT

Ahzalhea only uses Dyes that are non-toxic and low impact. The dyeing process uses salt, eliminating chemicals, and ensuring the safety of ourselves and our planet.

ELIMINATING WASTE

No fabric garbage here. Ahzalhea donates all fabric scraps to fabric recyclers to be made into new clothes and fabrics (eliminating a ton of waste!).

SUSTAINABLE EVOLUTION

Ahzalhea’s ethical and sustainable practices continue to grow as more options continue to become available. Check back for updates on our sustainable evolution!
